Tony Cuthbertson

Tony Cuthbertson has been a professional fashion and commercial photographer for more than 20 years. His fashion clientele varied from Miss Selfridge to Zeus and Wrangler jeans where he was mostly commissioned to do advertising poster work. In the music industry he has worked for American giants, Capital Records and photographed many top bands including UB40 and his very favourite, Marshall Lytle of Bill Hayley’s Comets.

For two years he was the house photographer for the mother and baby magazine Baby Annual, and for a further 5 years conducted his own magazine column for a photographic and modeling publication. Among the models Tony has most enjoyed working with are Naomi Campbell and glamour model Maria Whitaker. He has done P.R. shots for David Prowse (Darth Vadar) who surprisingly had a perfectly normal speech pattern, and the late Benny Hill.

Tony’s eye for that moment of beauty is what has helped him most in wedding photography, now that he is once again working with Gareth.

Gareth Wyn Jones

After a brief flirtation with fashion and commercial photography, Gareth took up photojournalism. For the past 15 years he has worked for every national tabloid and broadsheet newspaper in Britain as a freelance, as well as the New York Times, Stern magazine of Hamburg and extensively for Russian and Eastern European international publications.

Among the V.I.P.’s Gareth has photographed are Princess Diana, John Major, Gary Lineker and Michael Caine. His renowned broadsheet portraiture includes studies of Jeffrey Archer, the late John Smith M.P. and the even later Robert Maxwell. He has covered stories from Chernobyl to Downing Street and on to troubled Kosovo.

Gareth’s journalistic experience has proved to have been invaluable within the often fast moving wedding situation, now that he has finally settled down for this photographic adventure in Chester.
